prophetspeak: worlds in words.
A collection of writings, thoughts, moments of life, obsessions, and passions; nothing more. The Prophets Conclave and the moniker thirdprophet have stuck with me over the years; three is always an important number in symbology, often signifying power, strength, completion, and fullness: three colors to the flag, three words to the motto, three parts to Plato’s soul, the list goes on. To be the third signifies a process attempted, defined, refined, redefined, and achieved. Prophet does not signify religious affiliation or implication but simply the most significant word I could find that grasped together one who was a poet and a philosopher but also pragmatic; in short, one with a fire in his heart, a dream in his eyes, but steel to his thoughts.
I do not necessarily consider myself such a man, but perhaps aspire to be one. One who experiences passionate emotions and hopes of bright futures but is governed by rationality. I have tried my hand at poetry and various forms of music as well as longer forms of prose, and will continue to do so, the efforts and results of which will periodically surface on this blog along with both pretentious works and absolutely idiotic dribble.
worlds in words: they say that a picture is worth a thousand words; a word can also be worth a thousand pictures. Words, when chosen carefully, are powerful – they have the capability to change the context of the world, alter the framework in which we view the world, or, if used maliciously, the force to destroy a mind. We the collective human race have been chasing these words for millenia, attempting to perfect the art of words and the power they hold. Words can hold entire worlds within them.
As for myself, I am in my early twenties, and currently employed with the Canadian Forces and reside in Canada.
